Location: Bridge Centre Car Park, Tullamore, Co Offaly
About: The Tullamore St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the largest celebrations in the Midlands, traditionally kicking off at 11:30am on the 17th of March 2026. The event features vibrant floats, marching bands like the National Ambulance Service Pipe Band and community activities spanning across the hearts of the town. The theme for the parade is “Beannachtai La Fheile Phadraig” (Blessings of the Festival of St Patrick’s on one and all). The procession embarks from the Bridge Centre Car Park and moves through Tara Street, High Street, William Street and Kilbeggan Bridge, before finishing at the Tullamore GAA Centre. The Live Trad Music is provided by Tullamore Comhaltas at the Review Stand on Colmcille Street starting at 10:45am. There is some family fun at the parade like free face painting and meet-and-greets with cartoon characters inside the Bridge Centre from 10:30am to 1:00pm. There’s a dedicated sensory area for individuals with sensory issues is located in O’Connor Square. reserved seating for the elderly and accessible viewing is set up opposite the Review Stand.
