About: The Kilcormac St. Patrick’s Day Parade took place on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026 and is kicking off at 3.30pm. The procession departed from the Kilcormac-Killoughey GAA Field on the Birr Road, winding through the town to celebrate local community pride, creative displays and fancy dress. The parade will be gathering at Kilcormac GAA pitch at 3.00pm before the march begins. The event featured nine awards for participants, including a €500 top prize for the overall winner. awards were dedicated to specific categories such as best group display (Leagh Family Trophy) and best vintage entry (Anne & Jim Family Trophy), best vintage entry (Anne & Jim Feighery Trophy) and best schools entry (Mary Lee Trophy). It was organized by the Kilcormac Development Association, the afternoon event brought locals and surrounding parishes together for a vibrant celebration.
