About the Association

The Moneygall Development Association was developed with the purpose of serving as an umbrella organisation for community development in Moneygall.

The Association drives and supports several planning initiatives, utilising Social Enterprise as a means of providing many of the solutions in their neighbourhood. This strategic approach focuses on encouraging many to come and spend time together in the heart of the village.

The Development Association is responsible for overseeing the development of a centrally located Activity Park. The park includes:

  • A playground and outdoor gym area.
  • A multi-use games area (MUGA).
  • Outdoor social recreational space and lovely looped walks.

These amenities are centrally located with great parking and encourage community cohesion.

Services

Future Development: New Community Centre

The Association is a key partner in the new community centre development being built over the coming two years.

Goal: The centre aims to provide a large sporting and function room area for all groups in the community to use.

They utilise the Social Enterprise model as a means of providing many of the solutions needed in their neighbourhood.
