The Clara Swimming Pool is a valuable community-owned facility, run by a voluntary board of directors. The income generated by the pool is entirely reinvested back into the daily operation and maintenance of the facility.

The facility operates to the highest standards, undertaking many refurbishments over the last ten years, and is a registered training centre with both the Royal Lifesaving Society and Swim Ireland.
