A huge thank you to everyone who joined the Purple Heart Crochet group during the Bealtaine in Tullamore Library.

The finished crochet hearts were recently presented to Amy Matthews, Patient Advocany Liaison at Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore. This beautiful initiative by Friends of the Midlands Regional Hospital aims to bring comfort to bereaved families, with each family receiving a handmade hearts as a keep-sake.

The group  will continue to meet monthly in Tullamore Library on the last Friday of each month, 11:30am – 12:30pm. New and experienced crocheters are all welcome, with wool and hooks supplied.
