Offaly Comhairle na nOg – The Annual Youth Conference

Cathairleach Cllr Tony McCormack recently addressed 100 young people attending the Annual Youth Conference, speaking about the value of youth involvement in decision making. Guest Speaker Jordan Conroy also addressed the group, discussing Mental Health and how to ask for help and support from friends.

A number of workshops were held in https://www.facebook.com/mucklaghcommunitycentre giving the Young people a chance to share their opinions and there was an eagerly awaited dance off to wrap up the day ! Offaly Comhairle na nOg is our local youth council and members are aged 12 to 17. Comhairle give young people the development of local services and policies.
